LaTonya Johnson, a state Senator from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has declared “f*ck the suburbs.”
Here’s what she specifically said, according to AP reporter Scott Bauer: “F— the suburbs because they don’t know a goddamn thing about how life is in the city.” He tweeted that the comment came during a debate about the state budget and crime spreading to the suburbs.
Wisconsin Democratic state @StateSenLaTonya uses the f-word at the conclusion of a floor speech detailing crime in Milwaukee and concerns about it spreading from the city to the suburbs:
“F— the suburbs because they don't know a goddamn thing about how life is in the city.”

And other Democrats – including another state representative who let the F bomb fly herself – are defending the lack of decorum.
Bauer added, “Democratic Sen. @TimCarpenterMKE praised Johnson for giving an impassioned description of concerns about violence and policing in Milwaukee.”
Democratic state Rep. Francesca Hong tweeted in a spelling-error riddled post, “Senator Johnson spoke passionately to defend the communities she represents. Republicans who continuously weopanize and villinize the people of Milwaukee without accountability need to answer for constantly legislating racism. These absurd times in state gov call for real talk.”
Hong is a repeat offender; she frequently uses the F word in political discourse. These are just a few of the many examples:
Let suburbanites in Wisconsin understand how Democrats see them – they want them to f*ck off – drawing no distinction by political party. It is somewhat reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s basket of deplorables and Tommy Thompson’s “stick it to ’em,” referring to taxpayers in Waukesha and Milwaukee over the new Brewers stadium tax. In other words, it’s one of those moments when a politician states in crystal clear terms how their party sees a group of folks.
“Fuck the Suburbs” is truly remarkable messaging headed into a presidential year, but unfortunately this is the mentality that the Democrat Party of Wisconsin has.

Eric Toney, the Fond du Lac county DA and former Republican attorney general candidate, tweeted, “@StateSenLaTonya, many don’t know what it’s like to live in Milwaukee. I’m grateful to live in a safe community and I want those that live in Milwaukee to experience that same level of safety. To not fear shootings, reckless drivers, car jackings, etc. I pray we agree on this.”
