Milwaukee Police Breaking News – Fatal Crash – Fri, 30 Jun 2023

Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Friday, June 30th, 2023, at approximately 5:07 a.m., on the 500 block of W. Keefe Ave.

The driver, a 23-year-old Milwaukee male, was driving at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle, and struck a tree. He fled the scene on foot however returned later and was placed in custody.

One of the rear passengers, a 17-year-old Milwaukee female, was ejected during the collision and despite life-saving efforts, was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The driver and three passengers, two 16-year-old Milwaukee females, and an 18-year-old Milwaukee female, were conveyed to a local hospital for treatment. One passenger, a 23-year-old Milwaukee male was treated on scene.

This is an ongoing investigation. Charges will be submitted to the Milwaukee County Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days for review.
